Shane O'Rourke & Luke were amazing! The job of lifting my garage floor proved to be more difficult then expected. They were determined to level my garage floor, even though it took all day. I expected them to give up and say it couldn't be done, but they did it and the job is perfect! I'm so pleased with both of them and the job they did. Thanks guys!

Luke & Shane were a pleasure to work with. I own and operate my own business and can only hope my employees represent my business the same way they represented yours. They did a great job and were very professional. I would have them back any time if I have a future job. Great job guys.

I really appreciated the regular contact I had with the company explaining when the workmen would arrive and their names. As a senior living alone I worry about opening the door to strangers...the men arrived exactly on time or called me to say they were on their way. Greatly appreciated. I have already passed your name on to friends and family. Thank you for a job well done.

While we haven't had a severe testing of the system, we are very confident based on the quality of the job and service that it will handle any water issues that arise. It is that level of confidence that allowed us to confidently finish our 1780 sq.ft. basement.

A homeowner in Mississauga, Ontario, had a retaining wall in the back of their yard that was starting to bow in a way that was potentially dangerous. They were worried that if it were to fall over it would be very expensive to replace. The customer knew they needed a quick and reliable solution. They called Clarke Basement Systems to find a solution for their foundation issues. Our Foundation Supportworks Team came in to stabilize this retaining wall permanently. We installed Geo-Lock™ Wall Anchors, extending from the ravine at the back of the property through the retaining wall into the yard. Now, the retaining wall is stable, and the homeowner now has the peace of mind going forward that their retaining wall will never move again.
Groundwater seepage had been pooling up underneath our customer's basement floor. Behind the drywall, we found a significant amount of moisture and the concrete foundation was black and wet to the touch. ThermalDry® Wall Membrane was installed to drain water seepage from the foundation walls into the interior drainage system. Our customer was delighted with our team’s performance and was happy that their basement was completely waterproof and safe for their family to enjoy for many years to come.
This homeowner's old sump pump was outdated and unreliable. They needed a significant upgrade! Luckily, they called Clarke Basement Systems who installed a new reliable and trustworthy sump system. Our TripleSafe™ Complete Sump System has three levels of protection to ease your mind!
The homeowner wanted their basement to be fully waterproofed. To do so, we needed to install an interior drainage system. Our WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drainage System is the perfect solution for any typical basement. This system has an anti-clog design and collects leaking water from the walls.
This homeowner wanted to prevent rainwater from seeping into the basement. To prevent this from happening we installed our WellDuct® Basement Window Well Drain. It connects the base of the window well to the interior drainage system, eliminating water from pooling.
A home in Cheltenham, Ontario, had a problem located in the cold cellar of the house. Groundwater was seeping in at the floor/wall joint. The homeowner wanted to store items in this room safely without them getting wet and damaged.
The customer called Clarke Basement Systems and spoke to Ben Wallis who explained the solutions to their problem. Luke Havercourt and the team were able to complete the work in one day. They installed WaterGuard® sub-floor drainage system and ThermalDry® wall membrane. They were introduced to prevent groundwater from getting to the floor, by collecting any future water or moisture into the newly installed WaterGuard® around the perimeter.
The customer is satisfied because they will no longer have groundwater on the floor in the cold cellar, and can safely store personal items with peace of mind.
A home in Newmarket, Ontario, had water seeping into the finished basement. The water was coming in through the floor and the wall causing the house to smell musty. Mould was starting to form on the drywall and baseboards, and the homeowner wanted to fix this issue before it got any worse.
The customer called Clarke Basement Systems, and Ben Wallis explained everything. Luke Haverkort and the team came in and took down all the drywall. They installed ThermalDry® wall membrane on all the walls to keep moisture out and direct any seepage into the newly established WaterGuard® drainage system around the perimeter. This solution allowed the customer a piece of mind knowing their water issues are gone and the musty smell would disappear. Now they can renovate the basement knowing it will stay dry.
This caving foundation wall in Lakefield, Ontario, was a significant concern for our customer. The primary worry was that the wall would cave in resulting in a costlier repair. To stabilize the wall our team installed CarbonArmor®, to secure the wall from any further movement. ThermalDry® Insulation was placed over the foundation of the walls to funnel any water or moisture collected into the WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain. WaterGuard® was installed below the floor to capture groundwater seepage and help with the hydrostatic pressure. Both of these systems direct the water collected into the SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System. By correctly assessing the issue our team was able to provide a permanent waterproofing solution for our customer.
A home in Sutton West, Ontario, was having water seeping into the basement around the perimeter due to failed footing drain. The house was listed for sale but lost two offers because of the problems.
The customer called Clarke Basement Systems to waterproof the interior of the home. Luke Havercourt and his crew installed a full perimeter WaterGuard®, ThermalDry® wall membrane and a sump pump. The ThermalDry® wall membrane keeps water and moisture out of the space and directs it to the WaterGuard®. The WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain pushes any water seepage to the sump pump and out of the home so that the basement stays healthy and dry. The house is now waterproofed! The customer is pleased with the work done.

A home in Angus, Ontario, had water leaking through multiple locations of the basement when it rained and when the snow thawed. This unwanted water was causing damage to the wood framing and walls. The home was becoming unhealthy, and the homeowners were spending too much time worrying about the problem.
The customer called Clarke Basement Systems, and Robert Malcomson told them the steps to waterproofing their home. Luke Haverkort and the team came in and installed a TripleSafe™ Complete Sump Pump System, WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain and ThermalDry® R20 Insulation. ThermalDry keeps the heat inside the home during the cold months, collects any water & moisture from the walls, and directs it into the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard pushes the water into the TripleSafe and ejects it away from the home.
The Customer is very satisfied that the basement is now waterproofed and healthy.
A home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, had waterproofing issues that caused the owner to call Clarke Basement Systems. During the inspection, Robert Langton, our inspector, found that the corner of the house had sunk.
Shane, Luke, and the team replaced the old sump pump to protect the inside of the home. Then, to fix the sinking area of the house, they installed PushPiers against the walls after excavating with a hydro-vac truck. This solution permanently stabilized and lifted the foundation.
The customer is happy knowing we could fix the problems they did not think they had. This system protects the basement from flooding and stabilizes the home. They have peace of mind and can maintain the value of the house for future resale value.
A home in Collingwood, Ontario, had an old sump pump in the basement that was outdated. The homeowner was worried that it would not do the job if the basement flooded. The pipes leading to the outside of the home had a possibility of freezing, causing back up to the pump and flooding the basement.

Luke Haverkort and the team introduced a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump, two IceGuards® Discharge Line System and an Aprilaire Dehumidifier.
