This caving foundation wall in Lakefield, Ontario, was a significant concern for our customer. The primary worry was that the wall would cave in resulting in a costlier repair. To stabilize the wall our team installed CarbonArmor®, to secure the wall from any further movement. ThermalDry® Insulation was placed over the foundation of the walls to funnel any water or moisture collected into the WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain. WaterGuard® was installed below the floor to capture groundwater seepage and help with the hydrostatic pressure. Both of these systems direct the water collected into the SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System. By correctly assessing the issue our team was able to provide a permanent waterproofing solution for our customer.
A home in Sutton West, Ontario, was having water seeping into the basement around the perimeter due to failed footing drain. The house was listed for sale but lost two offers because of the problems.
