This basements back wall had water seeping in through the foundation, leaving pools of water on the floor. The customer wanted to finish their basement, so they needed to get rid of the water! Upon inspection of the area, we discovered that water was only seeping through one area of the basement. Our waterproofing solution has permanently stopped the water from coming in, and now the homeowner can finish his basement.
This finished basement in Aurora, Ontario had become damaged by water leaking in through the foundation walls. The WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drainage System is ideal for this situation. It is installed underneath the foundation of the floor and collects groundwater trying to enter the space. The water then drains into the sump system.
A home in Aurora had water leaking into the entire perimeter of the basement. It was coming up between the floor and the foundation wall. It was a problem because the house smelled very musty and the customer had health issues.
The homeowner called Clarke Basement Systems and spoke to Ben Wallis who was the inspector and told them what our team would do to waterproof the basement. Lucio Flores and the team came in and removed the Wall materials and opened up the concrete floor to install the WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain System, the ThermalDry® wall membrane and the SuperSump® Premier Sump Pump System. The WaterGuard® prevents water from being able to reach the basement floor elevation, and Thermaldry wall membrane prevents any future moisture or leakage behind the membrane from being able to affect the building materials in any way. The customer was satisfied because their basement no longer smells and they have solved the leaky basement issues permanently.

The sunken and cracked concrete around your Aurora home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse with time, but we can fix it for you!
Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam to provide reliable concrete lifting & leveling solutions. Small holes are drilled in the concrete and the expansion of the foam lifts & levels the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, requires larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel.
If your home has cracked concrete steps, pool decks, patios, or other slabs, then NexusPro is the right solution. NexusPro repairs concrete cracks and joints and is ultra-durable, so it will withstand UV rays, extreme weather, and more.
After utilizing our expert concrete repair solutions, consider the powerful concrete sealant, SealantPro. SealantPro further protects your concrete by bonding with it to guard against oil, gasoline, liquids, and other debris. In just one coat, SealantPro extends the life of your concrete by 3 to 5 times overall.

A home in Aurora, Ontario, was facing water drainage problems years ago on two of their window wells directing unwanted water into their basement. They called us at Clarke Basement Systems to help, and we replaced the old ones with our SunHouse™ window wells. After seeing what a difference it made on the one side of their home, they decided to bring us back to finish the other side of the house and replace the remaining two window wells.
The SunHouse™ window well offers several benefits to your home. One great feature is that it is made from durable, hard- plastic. This is different from traditional window wells that will rust and deteriorate over time. Another great option you can add to the SunHouse™ is a clear plastic cover that will keep snow, dirt, and unwanted pests out. This is an excellent option for homeowners looking for great drainage and wanting to maximize sunlight into their basement.
Think it's time to replace your old window wells? Call us today!
Lucio Flores and his team serviced a home in Aurora, Ontario, after they became aware of a nasty smell making its way throughout their home. This job was executed by first removing the walls of the basement perimeter, then replacing them with our CleanSpace® wall membrane to keep moisture out and dryness in! Then the crew professionally installed a WaterGuard® to ensure all water had a place to go below the grade of the home. Last, a SuperSump® was installed that will operate to keep water levels low and controlled.
Our customer in Aurora, Ontario, contacted our company regarding an issue located in the basement. Water had been leaking in through the floor wall joints around the perimeter and foundation walls. It affected the condition of the basement and value of the home, making it difficult to put up for sale on the market.
After calling Clarke Basement Systems an appointment with System Design Specialist, Chris Luke, was made. Following an inspection of the area, Chris provided a solution to fix the water seepage issue. Dave, Installation Foreman, installed:
The WaterGuard® and CleanSpace® Systems work together by accumulating water seepage internally and directs it into the sump system.
Our customer was satisfied with the results of both systems. The basement is now dry and ready for resale, and our transferable warranty covers new homeowners.
Our customer in Aurora, Ontario, had water coming through the foundation and into their basement. The water was damaging their finished basement, making the space unusable. This affected our customers quality of life and peace of mind. The value of their home was decreasing, and mold had begun to form in the corner of the basement.
Don’t wait for your finished basement to become damaged!
After placing a call to Clarke Basement Systems, an appointment with System Design Specialist, Ben Wallis, was made. Ben evaluated the basement and provided multiple waterproofing solutions. Jose, Installation Foreman, and his crew worked together to install:
The ThermalDry® Membrane funnels moisture or groundwater into the WaterGuard® Drainage System, the water is then collected and directed into the TripleSafe™ Sump. The significant benefit of installing a TripleSafe™ Sump System is that the pump has a battery backup system that will still pump in a power outage.
Our customer was happy with the job done. The systems are now taking care of the groundwater seepage issue permanently, giving our customer peace of mind. The basement can now comfortably be used as a living space, as intended.
A home in Aurora had water seeping into the entire perimeter of the basement. It was coming up between the floor and the foundation wall. It was a problem because water was rising to the floor elevation and the house smelled very musty. The customer had health issues, and understood the urgency of keeping the basement dry.
The homeowner called Clarke Basement Systems and spoke to Ben Wallis who was the inspector and told them exactly what needed to be done. Lucio Flores and the team came in and removed the Wall materials and opened up the concrete floor to install the Waterguard and the ThermalDry wall membrane. The ThermalDry wall membrane was installed on the walls collects and directs all water and moisture into the full perimeter WaterGuard that was installed. The Watergaurd directs all water into the newly installed Supersump system. WaterGuard prevents water from being able to reach the basement floor elevation and Thermaldry wall membrane prevents any future condensation, wall sweating or leakage behind the membrane from being able to effect the building materials in any way. The customer was satisfied because their basement no longer smells and they have solved the next phase in her leaky basement permanently.
