Our customer in Etobicoke, Ontario, had an issue with the previously-built rear addition before they owned the home. Water had started seeping in through the walls and concrete floor which was damaging materials used to finish their basement and affecting personal items. They were concerned that mould might begin to grow behind the finished walls.
After our customer spoke with Claude Mathieu, System Design Specialist, they agreed on a waterproofing solution plan. They started by removing the entire concrete floor to release the water pressure underneath. Jose, Lucio, Ali, and the crew installed:
SuperSump® Sump Pump System
WaterGuard® Drainage System
ThermalDry® Wall Membrane
IceGuard® Drainage Pipe
One Etobicoke, ON homeowner, was concerned with their unprotected current sump system. In the event of pump failure, power loss, or clogged and frozen discharge pipes their home would become flooded. This concerned the homeowner, as a result, could be a considerable amount of damages resulting in costly repairs and replacement.
Ron Monk, System Design Specialist, evaluated the condition of their home and provided a waterproofing solution. Ali Fereidouni, Foreman, and his team installed:
UltraSump® Battery Back-Up system
Zoeller® M53 Primary Pump
CleanPump Stand
IceGuard® Discharge line
The IceGuard® Discharge Line protects the discharge line in the event of frozen or clogged pipes. If the pipes become clogged or frozen, some slots face away from the home that allows water to flow out freely.
Our customer in Etobicoke, Ontario, was not protected in the event of pump failure, power loss, or clogged and frozen discharge pipes. With no backup system, their home could become flooded and damaged resulting in costly repairs and replacement.
One of our System Design Specialists informed our customer on the products that Ali Fereidouni, Foreman, would be installing. Ali and his team introduced our patented:
UltraSump® Battery Back-Up system
Zoeller® M53 Primary Pump
CleanPump Stand
IceGuard® Discharge line
The UltraSump® System is designed to run 12,000 gallons of pumping, should the primary pump fail, or the home loses power.
We all work hard for our money, so when we use it to invest in our home, we want that investment to last.
A family in Bowmanville, Ontario, was looking to finish their basement. The space was only bare foundation walls, so they were starting from scratch and wanted to make sure everything was done right. A large crack in the wall was leading to water seeping into the space, and they were understandably concerned about how this would affect the soon-to-come walls and floor. They decided to make the smart choice and reach out to Clarke Basement Systems for a free quote.
System Design Specialist Ryan Hanlon met with the anxious customers and inspected the space. They were eager to start renovating as they were in desperate need of space for their growing family. Ryan walked them through their options before they set up an installation date with our production department.
Foreman Ali Fereidouni used our FlexiSpan® Crack Repair System to waterproof the cracked wall. The polyurethane sealant is injected directly into the crack before the outside is sealed. A drain is also dug below as a failsafe for any additional cracking.
The family is beyond excited to have a finished basement, and they have peace of mind knowing their investment will be long-lasting and well spent.
Trying to fix a repair repeatedly is frustrating. It leaves you wondering if the issue will ever be resolved and can keep you awake at night.
In Courtice, Ontario, a customer was tired of dealing with a pesky water leak in his basement. The problem had persisted for years, and he had tried many different store-bought solutions with no success.
Clarke Basement Systems came in and finally changed his basement for the better. System Design Specialist Ryan Hanlon met with the customer and inspected the basement before recommending our FlexiSpan® Crack Repair.
Foreman Ali Fereidouni started by injecting the polyurethane sealant within the crack before caulking the exterior. FlexiSpan® stays durable but can still shift without losing its seal, keeping seeping water at bay. Lastly, a drain is placed over the entire crack in case of any future gaps that occur.
The customer doesn’t have to worry about his basement anymore and can use the space for storage again. No more headaches and sleepless nights!
Damage at home happens. It could be as big as a broken furnace or as small as a broken window. Either way, it’s something we need to deal with, regardless of the issue.
A customer in Whitby, Ontario, had a foundation crack in their finished basement. Water was leaking through the crack onto their carpet, and they were concerned about damage from mould and mildew.
Tired of dealing with the crack, they reached out to Clarke Basement Systems for a solution. They met with System Design Specialist Chris Luke, who was able to put their worries at ease by showing them our FlexiSpan® Repair System.
Foreman Ali Fereidouni started the repair by injecting our sealant deep into the crack before patching the exterior. He also installed an in-floor drain to catch any additional seeping water.
The customer is thrilled that their finished basement is protected. They can continue to use the space without having to worry about mould and mildew.

A family in Newmarket, Ontario, was dealing with a crack in their basement foundation. Each time it rained. Their six-year-old daughter uses the space, so they wanted to get the repair done correctly.
They reached out to Clarke Basement Systems and met with System Design Specialist Dan Montgomery. Dan was able to put their mind at ease by showing them our FlexiSpan® Repair System, and a date was set for the installation.
Foreman Ali Fereidouni worked hard installing the crack repair system. Polyurethane was injected inside the crack and around the exterior. An additional drain was installed as well.
The family is ecstatic about the final product. They no longer need to worry about their daughter using the space, and they finally have a dry basement.
A townhouse in Barrie, ON, had water entering in through the back corner of the basement. The basement was rented out to a tenant – they couldn't use the space while water was coming in. The homeowner needed to get this water issue resolved to protect the house and make sure the tenant could live in a dry, healthy environment in the basement apartment.
The homeowner called Clarke Basement Systems to fix this problem. An appointment was set up with Rob Malcomson. He confirmed the water was entering through a floor-to-ceiling crack in the wall. Ali Fereidouni and his installation team took away the insulation and installed FlexiSpan® on the wall where the water was seeping. Problem fixed! The owner was happy about the warranty, and the tenant was pleased to be able to use the space again without any issues. Now the home is protected from leaks in the basement.
Seeing water run down the wall of your finished basement can leave you a little upset. Thousands of dollars go into creating a basement, and a water leak can wash your money away.
An Oshawa, Ontario, homeowner, Malik, was frustrated to see his basement beginning to fall into disrepair along one wall. A large crack had formed, and water was seeping into the space and ruining the drywall. So he reached out to Clarke Basement Systems for a fix.
System Design Specialist Ryan Hanlon inspected the crack behind the wall and recommended our FlexiSpan® Crack Repair. Malik was happy to hear the repair could be completed in one day, and Foreman Ali Feroudini was tasked with the installation.
Ali injected the polyurethane sealant directly into the crack before sealing the exterior. To ensure a complete repair, he dug a small ditch below the crack as a backup for additional cracking and used fresh concrete to relevel the floor.
Malik was blown away by the entire process. From reaching out to our Call Centre, meeting with Ryan, and having the installation done, he was impressed with our company's honesty and hard work. He quickly rebuilt the basement wall and said it looks better than ever.
