Crawl Space Repair Before & After Photos

A home in Bolsover, Ontario, had a crawlspace that was damp, cold and unhealthy. The Homeowner was worried about pipes freezing in the winter from drafts into the crawl space and cold floors.

The customer called Clarke Basement Systems and spoke to Chris Luke, who explained the solution we came up with for the problem. Our team came in and did an Encapsulation of the crawlspace to isolate the home from the earth and spray foam in the header space to stop outside air leakage.

The customer was satisfied because the Floors are now warmer in the home and there are no more worries of pipes freezing. 

A customer from Harwood, Ontario, contacted Clarke Basement Systems for help with his damp, dirty crawl space. He noticed strong odour lingering around, and he was concerned that mould was starting to grow. System Design Specialist Ryan Hanlon investigated the issue and offered a complete solution that would last.

First, our installation crew placed a new SmartBeam® to restore the integrity of the crawl space. Next, they insulated the rim joists and placed our ThermalDry® wall system and encapsulated the area with our CleanSpace® vapour barrier. Lastly, they installed an in-house dehumidifier to help keep the space dry. Collectively, the installations will work together to deliver a well-functioning crawl space and give our customer peace of mind. 

What a difference! Now, our client can use their basement and crawl space for storage again, with no worries.
