We place the sump pump below the grade of the floor to catch water and pump it out of the space

The freeze-proof discharge line was run far away from the basement to prevent any water from seeping back towards the home
Fixing a major issue just for another one to pop up is frustrating, and for a homeowner in Newcastle, Ontario, this was the issue he was dealing with.
Robert had already had his basement waterproofed when his cold room started to deal with the same issue. He wanted to protect this room as well, and he knew exactly which company to call to handle the situation.
Our System Design Specialist, Ryan Hanlon, walked through the room with Robert and provided him with a unique system to waterproof the system. Robert was pleased to see such an innovative way to keep his cold room dry and eagerly set up a date for the installation.
Ryan’s proposal included installing a SuperSump® Pump System and an IceGuard® Discharge Line. Foreman Lucio Flores and Installation Specialist Dymytro Bohatyrov worked tirelessly digging a pit for the sump pump and running the discharge line through the foundation to the exterior.
Our SuperSump® unit expels over 2,600 gallons of water per hour to ensure the room stays dry. For added security, the IceGuard® Discharge Line had a built-in overflow, preventing any backups caused by frozen water in the line.
Robert is beyond impressed with the way his cold room turned out. He got exactly the service and work he expected from Clarke basement Systems and would bring us back in a heartbeat.
