Leaking Corner of Basement Worries Homeowner in Oshawa, Ontario

No one wants to walk into their basement and find water pooling in the corner, but unfortunately, it's a reality for some people.

A customer in Oshawa, Ontario, was getting fed up with the water in his basement. Each time it rained, or there was a heavy thaw, he knew he would likely find a pool in his basement. The water was leaking in from one corner, so he decided to call Clarke Basement Systems.

System Design Specialist Chris Luke met with the homeowner and inspected the basement. Chris determined that water was seeping up through the floor/wall joint and recommended our SuperSump® with a new discharge.

Foreman Lucio Flores started by digging a pit for the sump pump. Our SuperSump® Pump was installed below the floor of the grade to collect water. From there, water is pumped out of the home through an IceGuard® Discharge Line. This unique system comes with a built-in overflow to prevent any backups caused by freezing in the line.

The client is happy to finally have some peace of mind. His basement is dry, and he doesn't need to worry every time the rain starts to fall.
