Simple Install, Yet Affective, Toronto ON

In Toronto, Ontario, a homeowner wanted to transform his newly bought house into a dream home. Gutting the original interior and starting fresh was something he was passionate about. When going through the crawl space, he noticed that the sump pump was never changed, and there was a pit with a weak, unreliable pump in the middle. After contacting the pros at Clarke Basement Systems, our System Design Specialist Tom Parker went to talk to the homeowner. When doing his multiple-point inspection, Tom found that the crawl space already had a perimeter drainage system. This helped make Tom’s quoting process much easier. Tom recommended one of our best sump pumps, the SuperSump®, with the additional battery backup so the system could hold up during a power outage. The homeowner agreed to the extra tech to make the waterproofing system was as reliable as possible. After finalizing everything, our crew Lucio Flores, Installation Foreman, and Stefan Santobuono, Installation Specialist, started the job. When arriving on scene, Stefan started to assemble the sump pump as Lucio scoped out the site. Lucio noticed there was a copper pipe connecting to the pump. This was no ordinary pipe. It belonged to the City of Toronto! A City of Toronto plumber had to go to this job site to cut the line. That's no problem for us because the team had the system ready and prepped to jump back to work after the plumber removed the excess piping. When it was time to resume work, the homeowner wanted to see the production process unfold since he was fascinated by the system. Lucio talked him through each step of the installation providing information about the sump pump system. Lucio also explained the details of aftercare maintenance once the job was completed. The owner was very pleased with the service from start to finish.
