Repairing Small Cracks
Before we cover the bigger cracks with our Carbon Armour, we have to ensure all the smaller cracks are taken care of.
Furnace room
There are 4 locations where the carbon will be. 3 vertical and 1 horizontal behind some ducts.
Closer look
Block foundation is tricky when cracks form because they don't run in a straight line, they tend to follow the grooves of each block.
Sanded
Sanded the furnace room and cleaned the walls for the remaining material.
Horizontal Piece
The access point to the horizontal crack.
Mixing
Mixing the chemical resin to fuse the carbon to the walls and have it harden stronger than steel.
Weaved
The material is so strong because the carbon is weaved tightly and does not allow room for space in between.
