Wet Basement Postpones Renovation in Markham, Ontario

Livable space versus storage space is something we all do our best to juggle with. We could always use more of each, but finding the right balance is crucial.

A customer in Markham, Ontario, had plans to finish his basement but had a water seepage issue to tackle first. He wanted to ensure their investment would be protected, so they decided to reach out to Clarke Basement Systems before the renovation. 

System Design Specialist Ron Monk travelled to the home and met with the customer. The homeowner walked Ron through the problems they were having, and Ron designed a system to suit their needs.

Foreman Jose Martinez and his crew, Installation Specialists Trevor Bowman and Jaron Marcotte, worked hard installing the waterproofing system. The team dug a trench around the perimeter and installed our WaterGuard Drain System to catch any seeping water. To encapsulate the walls, Basement to Beautiful panels were used. This makes it easy to install drywall when the homeowner decides to finish the basement.
