Basement Fully Waterproofed inPort McNicoll, ON

When our System Design Specialist, Rob Malcomson, met with homeowners in Port McNicoll, ON, they were adamant that they were “sick and tired” of worrying about water leaking into their basement for so many years. They started to notice that mold had started to form creating a second issue in the basement that was affecting some of the walls. Since the homeowners were away for extended periods of time on business, they were always concerned about the state of the basement while they were away. Based on the inspection of the house, Rob put a plan together designed to eliminate the water issues so they would no longer be a concern to the homeowners. 

Once the installation specialists arrived at the house, they reviewed the plan with the homeowners letting them know how the system would be installed. WaterGuard® was installed around the interior perimeter of the home trapping and directing water entry issues to the sump location. CleanSpace® was put on the walls to also trap moisture coming through the wet block walls. ThermalDry® was installed out and around the furnace and hot water location as a precaution that if there was a hot water or furnace plumbing issue it would be guided into the designed system and not spread out on the basement floor. 

Our customer now has a warrantied and dry basement. They are confident that the renovation project is protected from potential water entry issues. Now when they are away for work or on vacation, their concerns are gone since their basement is dry, healthy and protected with a Clarke Basement System warranty.
