Basement Waterproofing for Laundry Room in Pickering, ON

This apartment complex had a laundry room that was leaking in the corner. There was a prominent crack that ran from floor to ceiling that invited outside water in and would pool towards the centre of the room. Many residents were upset by the amount of water that would soak their feet and if something were to drop out of their hands, it would get both wet and dirty. The property managers were informed and they noticed that this crack cannot be avoided for safety reasons. The fracture in the wall already damaged the foundation enough, and to avoid further damage, they needed to get repaired ASAP. 

After searching up waterproofing companies on Google, they found that Clarke Basement Systems has done work in Pickering, Ontario, before. They looked at our reviews and previous work and knew they could trust us for the work. Our System Design Specialist, Chris Luke, arrived at the apartment complex to examine the fracture in the wall. Based on his experience, he knew right away what products would fix this issue. Once he drafted up his quote, he was ready to send Ali, our Installation Specialist, to the home at the earliest convenience. Once Ali arrived, it was time to get the work done. He started by moving the dryer out of the way to get more access to the wall crack. From there he excavated the floor to make way for our WaterGuard® perimeter drainage system. Moving up the wall, Ali started to apply our FlexiSpan® making an air-tight seal on the crack to prevent outside elements from coming in. Next, our CleanSpace® wall membrane was applied for an extra layer of protection against any remaining water. This job took less than a full business day and Ali was able to make this happen without getting in the way of everyday foot traffic.
