Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Water Seepage Soaks New Carpet in Courtice, Ontario

Completing a renovation is an exciting time for a homeowner. You finally get to enjoy the fruits of your labour and see your financial investment pay off. Customers in Courtice, Ontario, had just installed new carpets in their rec room. They were excited to use the newly renovated space, but were devastated when they noticed water throughout the carpet.  Looking to protect their investment, they reached out to Clarke Basement Systems for a solution. System Design Specialist Chris Luke met with the customers and inspected their basement rec room. Chris put a plan in place to waterproof the area, and a date was set for the repair. Foreman Lucio Flores started by encapsulating the walls with ThermalDry® Wall Membrane. To pump water out of the basement, a SuperSump® Pump was installed, draining water from the WaterGuard® Drain System. Lastly, an IceGuard® Discharge Line was used to prevent a backup due to freezing. The customers are thrilled with their new waterproofing system. Their new carpets are dry, and their investment is protected.
