Crawl Space Before
Dirt floor crawl spaces almost always allow water to seep through into the air
Debris
We removed and worked around some debris in the basement
Entrance
This small hole in the foundation wall was the entrance to this section of the crawl space
Drainage
Drainage matting allows water to evenly disperse back into the ground rather than pooling in one location
Crawl Space After
CleanSpace® provides an air-tight seal between the floor and the rest of the space
Insulation
ThermalDry® Wall Membrane acts as both an insulator and a vapour barrier on the walls
Dehumidifier
Aprilaire® Dehumidifiers plug right into an outlet and can be set up to self-drain while keeping the humidity below 55%
Entrance Before
Nothing was stopping moisture and mould from building up on the crawl space entryway
Entrance After
We encapsulated and insulated the entrance with spray foam to provide a dry entry to the space
