Unwanted Water Entry in Angus, ON

Unwanted Water Entry in Angus, ON

Unwanted Water Entry in Angus, ON Unwanted Water Entry in Angus, ON

A home in Angus, Ontario, had water entering into the basement through one wall persistently over time. The water was causing issues with family storage and was causing concern about mould growth. The customer did not feel comfortable in the basement and was worried about storage space as well as the mould growth creating an unhealthy environment.

The customer called Clarke Basement Systems to solve the problem. Rob Malcomson went in to inspect the wet basement and noticed that they had an old sump pump that was no longer doing the job.  Jose M and the team installed a WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain, relieving pressure from beneath floor and collecting water entering the basement space. CleanSpace® Vapour Barrier was installed on the walls to receive any water entry above the floor line and direct it to the WaterGuard that would then drain towards the installed TripleSafe™ Complete Sump Pump System. The sump pump manages the water volume collected by the entire system. There is a battery backup to assure function continues in case of pump failure or power outage. We removed all of the old damaged walls stained with water and mould, making this space healthy again. The customer now has a dry, healthy basement for storage. A 25-year transferable warranty protects it.

A home in Angus, Ontario, had water leaking through multiple locations of the basement when it rained and when the snow thawed. This unwanted water was causing damage to the wood framing and walls. The home was becoming unhealthy, and the homeowners were spending too much time worrying about the problem.

The customer called Clarke Basement Systems, and Robert Malcomson told them the steps to waterproofing their home.  Luke Haverkort and the team came in and installed a TripleSafe™ Complete Sump Pump System, WaterGuard® Below-Floor Drain and ThermalDry® R20 Insulation. ThermalDry keeps the heat inside the home during the cold months, collects any water & moisture from the walls, and directs it into the WaterGuard. The WaterGuard pushes the water into the TripleSafe and ejects it away from the home.

The Customer is very satisfied that the basement is now waterproofed and healthy.

Fast & Affordable Concrete Repair

The sunken and cracked concrete around your Angus home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse with time, but we can fix it for you!

Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam to provide reliable concrete lifting & leveling solutions. Small holes are drilled in the concrete and the expansion of the foam lifts & levels the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, requires larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel.

If your home has cracked concrete steps, pool decks, patios, or other slabs, then NexusPro is the right solution. NexusPro repairs concrete cracks and joints and is ultra-durable, so it will withstand UV rays, extreme weather, and more.

After utilizing our expert concrete repair solutions, consider the powerful concrete sealant, SealantPro. SealantPro further protects your concrete by bonding with it to guard against oil, gasoline, liquids, and other debris. In just one coat, SealantPro extends the life of your concrete by 3 to 5 times overall.

Call us today to learn more about our proven concrete leveling, cracked concrete repair, and concrete sealing techniques.

Good afternoon, I currently own a Basement Systems Triple Safe system. I was wondering how much it would cost to raise the level of the Zoeller M98 in my currrent system to reduce the number of cycles (due to a high water table). Please let me know at your earliest convenience.

Good Morning, We recently moved into a new house in Angus, Ontario. During the house inspection, they found a crack near one of the basement windows. It's not leaking as it was tested during the inspection but we would like to get it fixed before it does start leaking. If you could get back to me to set up a quote that would be very much appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks....

Experienced severe frost heaving this past winter. Require foundation inspected, dug out and new weeping/drainage system installed, retaining walls required at both ends of walkout back side of house. Approx 100ft of foundation length along back walkout part of house where frost heaving occurred.

Foundation is sinking and caving in all around the house.

House was built in two parts. The new part is on a cement slab but the old part is apparently on wood slabs or pillars and water has been getting under that part of the house from the neighbors driveway due to my house being lower then their driveway. The excess water that has gone under the house has caused the wood to rot and shift and now I have cracks in one of my bedroom walls and my hallway now has a tilt to it and there are now gaps between some floors and the walls.

Just wondering the cost to put in support posts in the crawl space and basement area. The basement area is about four feet where the crawl space is about two.

Hi there we have a raised bungalow and are wnating to finish the basement. we do not want it to lool like a basment more like the 2nd level of our home. The basement itself is roughly about 300sq feet, plus a laundry/mud room. I have no idea what the cost would be to finish this size area.
