We lifted a backyard slab on grade that was sloping towards the house using our PolyLevel® Injection. This helped prevent water entering the basement after a big rainfall. We lifted the slabs nearly 1 inch to ensure they sloped away from the house and then sealed the gap between the slab and the house with NexusPro® Sealant.

Many variables affect the temperature of your home. Most of these are out of your control thanks to Mother Nature, but poor insulation can also lead to chilly temperatures.

A customer in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, noticed his floors were far too cold during the winter. Cold feet led them to think something was wrong with their crawl space, so he decided to call Clarke Basement Systems.

System Design Specialist Rob Malcomson met with the homeowner and inspected the crawl space. During the inspection, the customer made it clear that extra storage space was just as important as warm feet. Rob designed a system to give them both a dry, useable crawl space and a warm main floor.

Foreman Jose Martinez and his crew, Installation Specialists Trevor Bowman and Jaron Marcotte, started by removing the debris and rubble from the crawl space. From there, the entire space was encapsulated with CleanSpace® Vapour Barrier. This provides an air-tight seal to keep moisture out of the space. We installed ThermalDry® Wall Membrane with an R20 insulation rating around the upper portion of the crawl space to help retain heat. Lastly, an Aprilaire® Dehumidifier was installed to condition the air and keep the relative humidity below 55%.

The customers are thrilled with their dry crawl space. They don’t need to wear slippers around the house anymore, and they’ve been saving money on their energy bills ever since our repair.

Fast & Affordable Concrete Repair

The sunken and cracked concrete around your Wasaga Beach home is both an eyesore and a safety hazard. It is also likely to get worse with time, but we can fix it for you!

Our experts use PolyLevel, a superior polyurethane foam to provide reliable concrete lifting & leveling solutions. Small holes are drilled in the concrete and the expansion of the foam lifts & levels the concrete. The majority of contractors you will call use mudjacking instead of foam. Mudjacking is heavier, requires larger holes in the concrete and does not last as long as PolyLevel.

If your home has cracked concrete steps, pool decks, patios, or other slabs, then NexusPro is the right solution. NexusPro repairs concrete cracks and joints and is ultra-durable, so it will withstand UV rays, extreme weather, and more.

After utilizing our expert concrete repair solutions, consider the powerful concrete sealant, SealantPro. SealantPro further protects your concrete by bonding with it to guard against oil, gasoline, liquids, and other debris. In just one coat, SealantPro extends the life of your concrete by 3 to 5 times overall.

Call us today to learn more about our proven concrete leveling, cracked concrete repair, and concrete sealing techniques.

We Fix
  • Cracked Driveways
  • Uneven Patios
  • Sinking Sidewalks

Job Stories From Wasaga Beach, ON
Sold! Push Pier System Installation in Wasaga, ON

This client was interested in purchasing his dream home in Wasaga Beach, ON. The only problem was, there were structural issues with the house, which caused it to settle down into the foundation.

After going back and forth on if he should purchase the home or not, he knew that this home wasn't something he could walk away from. But what could he do to fix it? He did some research and found our Clarke Basement Systems website where he set up an inspection with System Design Specialist, Rob Malcomson.

Rob concluded that to stabilize the home permanently, our patented Push Pier System would be the perfect solution! We installed the Push Pier System underneath the foundation of the house using a standard bracket. This system secured the home's structure and raised it back to its original level. Then, we excavated the soil at each pier location to the footing and backfilled the soil after we installed the system. For the final step, we lifted the foundation and restored it to its original position.

With the newly installed Push Pier System, the client was able to purchase their dream home confidently. They were ecstatic that there would no longer be any structural issues, as well as having a lifetime transferable warranty.

Replacing Sump Pump and Foundation Stabilizing, Wasaga, ON

A home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, had an old sump pump that was no longer doing its job. During the inspection, it was found that the sump was improperly installed and had caused the foundation to be undermined. Not only was the house vulnerable to flooding, the corner of the house had started sinking.

The customer called Clarke Basement Systems and talked to Robert Langton who explained the work that would be done to fix the problems inside and outside of the home.  Shane, Luke, and the team replaced the old sump pump with a TripleSafe sump to protect the home from flooding. They then permanently stabilized and lifted the foundation with PushPier after excavating with a hydro-vac truck.

The customer is happy knowing they now have a double back up protection with the TripleSafe PowerPack Pump System and the house is now permanently stabilized.

Hi, I have a 700 sqft cottage. I recently had the crawl space excavated with a hydro-excavation service, so I could put in spray foam. So now there's roughly 3 feet of depth. The problem is that now the joists and floorboards are covered in dirt. This needs to be scraped off before I can get the insulation done. Is this something you can do? Please give me a call. Thanks!

Basement keeps getting damp and sometimes water noticed gutter spout damaged and water must of been going straight down against basement wall so I know eavestrough problematic but perhaps there are cracks? I want my basement bone dry because I want to drywall and put tile/flooring down and make it livable space that is definitely nuit prone to flooding (which occurred at spring thaw last year and I did not immediately notice and lots of fabric paper based and particleboard furniture stuff got smelly and/or damaged).it needs to. E looked at and perhaps from the outside sources removed from side of house see if there are potential cracks.

We just moved here on July 22 and crawlspace in basement has a very musty smell and somme items in 2 months had mold on them. No water in basement or on walls, House is 7 years old, has an air conditioner and a sump pump. We put a dehumidifier in basement when we discovered smell. Only has come in the last month because of humid summer. Vents in basement wall 2 of them are open. What to do? We have removed alot of stuff and also everything else is in rubbermaid bins.Crawl space walls are insulated with a vapor barrier and there is no apparent moisture on plastic We would like a house call at your convenience. Thank you

Crack in foundation wall below basement window
Vicinity of Old Mosley Street in Wasaga Beach
Hi. This is a cottage we own in Wasaga Beach. We just purchased about a month ago. On first inspection we noticed how clean and dry the crawl space looked. It was full of clean sand and everything looks and smells mold free. The furnace and hot water tank looks rust free. The block foundation has rigid foam on it and the above flooring has no insulation underneath. On humid summer days when there is little air flow a musty smell comes from the crawl space. Can't say it smells rotten just old. Not sure I need a vapor barrier or what ?
