Mould can be detrimental to anyone, regardless of age or even if you are an exceptionally healthy individual. Steve, from Wasaga Beach, called us worried about his mother-in-law's overall health as she had a lot of dampness and mould in her basement. System Design Specialist Rob Malcolmson introduced Steve to our full waterproofing solution that would stop mould growth and moisture. Installed Jose Martinez and his crew, the team successfully installed our WaterGuard®, CleanSpace® and new sump system that will now protect his mother-in-law from water and all the damage that can come with it.
This client was interested in purchasing his dream home in Wasaga Beach, ON. The only problem was, there were structural issues with the house, which caused it to settle down into the foundation.
After going back and forth on if he should purchase the home or not, he knew that this home wasn't something he could walk away from. But what could he do to fix it? He did some research and found our Clarke Basement Systems website where he set up an inspection with System Design Specialist, Rob Malcomson.
Rob concluded that to stabilize the home permanently, our patented Push Pier System would be the perfect solution! We installed the Push Pier System underneath the foundation of the house using a standard bracket. This system secured the home's structure and raised it back to its original level. Then, we excavated the soil at each pier location to the footing and backfilled the soil after we installed the system. For the final step, we lifted the foundation and restored it to its original position.
With the newly installed Push Pier System, the client was able to purchase their dream home confidently. They were ecstatic that there would no longer be any structural issues, as well as having a lifetime transferable warranty.
A home in Wasaga Beach, Ontario, had an old sump pump that was no longer doing its job. During the inspection, it was found that the sump was improperly installed and had caused the foundation to be undermined. Not only was the house vulnerable to flooding, the corner of the house had started sinking.
The customer called Clarke Basement Systems and talked to Robert Langton who explained the work that would be done to fix the problems inside and outside of the home. Shane, Luke, and the team replaced the old sump pump with a TripleSafe sump to protect the home from flooding. They then permanently stabilized and lifted the foundation with PushPier after excavating with a hydro-vac truck.
The customer is happy knowing they now have a double back up protection with the TripleSafe PowerPack Pump System and the house is now permanently stabilized.
