A home in King, Ontario had water seepage in spring thaw and snow melt in multiple areas in the basement. The Basement was finished and the water coming in was making it smell musty because the carpet, wood and drywall were wet. The homeowner could no longer use the space for storage because all the items were getting wet.
The customer called Clarke Basement Systems to fix their water issues. They talked to Chis Luke who figured digging from the exterior was not an option because they had a big front porch and gardens. He explained what they would have to do inside the home to create a solution for the water problems. Jose Martinez and the team came in and installed a Waterguard around the furnace and pressure tank, without having to remove or disconnect them. We installed Thermal Dry wall membrane on the walls to direct any water into the Watergaurd which is attached to the customers existing sump pump. The customer can now re finish the basement without having to worry about wet floors, musty smells and mold and has a 25 year warranty.
