I own a split level home with a wood foundation. I moved in 9 years ago in July. 8 years ago in June two sides of my foundation were dug up with new weeping til put in due to the old ones being clogged. No water issues after that until 3 years ago my front downspout was clogged so I had that redone. Now I had water in my basement on Thursday after heavy rain. During that time the ditch my weeping tiles drain into was overwhelmed and my drain pipes were under water in the ditch. The backyard had a "river" of weather running through it. The original company that built the house in 2001 has done the previously listed repairs. I also have in-floor radiant heat so there is no sump pump. I'm looking for a complete solution to my problem. Is there any solution?

I have a small cottage at Huntsville with a 24' x 37' block wall crawl space foundation that is too shallow i.e. the foundation wall is approximately 3 ft below the surface as opposed to 4 ft. As a result I have to keep the crawl space heated to prevent the foundation from frost heaving. Option is to raise the cottage and install more block. Can helical piles attached to the walls e used to stabilize the walls and fix the frost heaving problem?

I have a barn style garage built on the side of a hill. The exposed block foundation on the low side of the hill is about 4 feet high, and is starting to bow outward from pressure inside the garage floor. The blocks have not cracked, but have moved outwards by about 5 inches and have taken the garage wall with them. I would like to get some idea if this can be fixed before it gets worse, and at what cost.

Corner & rear of house is sinking. Corner has been a problem for years. Because of settlement, drainage tile around house is now above floating basement foundation, so water is coming into basement through cracks in foundation walls. This last winter with the amount of snow did not help situation. House was built on filled in marsh area. We suspect ground was not compacted properly. Double masonry chimney is not helping the issue. We foresee a big job, but something has to be done to correct the situation. I was told a floating concrete floor would be best, but obviously got bad advice from the beginning. The concrete floor is 6 inches thick with rebar....not wire mesh. Bad corner is down 6 inches from centre of house.....quite a challenge for the right company. On site inspection by a "professional" would be appreciated. Because of melting snow & accumulation of water in yard, work would have to be put off until late summer or early fall. I will be asking for credentials & evidence of previous jobs.

This is my cottage residence and we have been having water in the basement right by our furnance. Can not locate any waters stains along the wall. First it looked like a condensation issue from the furnace room drain piping as it was on a negative angle and water was coming out from the joint. I changed the angle and now seems to be good but still have water accumlation on the floor.

Our home is a prefab that was placed on a foundation. In order to raise the house, the builder built a kneewall and placed the house on that. We would like bracing to reinforce the house to the foundation so that it runs up the concrete basement wall, pass the kneewall and attaches to the joists above.
