Challenge
This crawlspace was musty, damp and largely unusable by the cottage owners. Water entered every spring making the space unhealthy. Damage to the existing wood framing if left in this condition was assured over time.
Solution
A full encapsulation was installed, a SuperSump with a UltraSump battery backup along with one of our dehumidifiers were also installed. As this was a cottage for the customers, a battery backup was important for peace of mind when they were away if the power were to go out. The dehumidifier installed will assure the moisture level never gets above an acceptable level, prolonging the life of the wood framing. Customers can now use this space to store all their summertime recreational toys, in a clean healthy space.
