Damp Crawl Space in Harwood, ON

A customer from Harwood, Ontario, contacted Clarke Basement Systems for help with his damp, dirty crawl space. He noticed strong odour lingering around, and he was concerned that mould was starting to grow. System Design Specialist Ryan Hanlon investigated the issue and offered a complete solution that would last.

First, our installation crew placed a new SmartBeam® to restore the integrity of the crawl space. Next, they insulated the rim joists and placed our ThermalDry® wall system and encapsulated the area with our CleanSpace® vapour barrier. Lastly, they installed an in-house dehumidifier to help keep the space dry. Collectively, the installations will work together to deliver a well-functioning crawl space and give our customer peace of mind.
