Before Cold Room Transformation
This was the cold room when system design specialist, Ben Wallis went for inspection. There appeared to be water seepage, and dampness and the area was not insulated well.
Water Seepage
Most often, your cold room can be placed under patios, walkways, and porches. These places often allow more water to seep through, which results with your foundation cracking. This cold room had one starting at the ceiling, so don sealed it off before doing anything else.
insulating
The crew insulated the area which will eliminate dampness, and a cold, muggy feeling.
Brightening the Area
Lastly, the team installed an in-house vinyl ceiling that will drain down the BrightWall® panelling system. This way any water coming from above will be guided down into the sub-floor drainage system, then out towards the exterior discharge pipe.
