Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Wet Basement in Cookstown, ON
The home owner had struggle for years with a wet basement. The water was coming in through several areas and they had previously tried to put in an outside sump pit in to relieve the pressure. Finally they called Clarke Basement Systems to take care of the issue fast and effectively.
We installed a WaterGuard System around the full perimeter of the basement floor to keep the whole space waterproof. Then we put in the TripleSafe Sump Pump System to keep the basement dry all the time, due to its three levels of protection. We then put CleanSpace vapor barriers on the walls to control any moisture or leaks, directing them down to the WaterGuard if needed. There were many obstacles throughout the customers basement that needed to be temporarily moved around. Our team successfully installed what was needed to keep this basement dry and returned everything back into place. The customer no longer has to worry about struggling with a wet basement in the future.
