Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Kushog Lake Cottage

Challenge

Customer had built a cottage and the basement was part rock and part slab floor, water constantly seeped through footing where it sat on bedrock causing flooding over the rock and onto the floor. Due to all the moisture there was high humidity levels and dampness problems in basement.

Solution

Install DryTrak and Waterguard Systems on the floor and beside the rock where it meets the slab floor to direct the seepage to a Supersump to eject water out of the basement. Encapsulate the bedrock with Cleanspace to isolate the cottage from the moisture. Install a SaniDry XP Basement Air System to dry the basement and its contents and filter the air.
