Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Evident Water Seepage in Bond Head, Ontario

Challenge

A customer contacted our call centre about some water seepage they were receiving in their basement located in Bond Head, Ontario. Plenty of water dripped down along the brick walls that had a musty smell to accompany it. They feared that the walls would begin to crack and they might have some mold growth as a result.

Solution

An experienced installation professional headed to check out the issue. Delivering expertise to the customer, they both decided on a well-suited solution for the home to completely waterproof it. Using our WaterGuard® drainage system, the water now had guidance to the sump pump and out through an exterior discharge line. Next, we installed our ThermalDry® wall system. It will provide the homeowner with energy efficiency as it will insulate the basement and drain all wall seepage to the WaterGuard® system. Finally, the third part installed was our IceGuard® that is connected to the discharge line. The IceGuard® assures that there will be no seepage or blockage during the cold winter months. Collectively the three systems work mutually to guide unwanted water out of the customer’s home.
