Basement Waterproofing Case Studies: Foundation Cracks Leads to Mystery Water in Basement in Beeton, Ontario
Challenge
Concrete is a great medium with many uses. Buildings, walkways, and even decorative pieces are made from concrete, but it does have its flaws.
A customer in Beeton, Ontario, reached out to us after noticing water on his basement floor. He assumed it was coming from a large crack beneath his staircase, but he had no idea how to stop the water from coming in.
Solution
The customer met with System Design Specialist Robert Langton. Robert showed the customer our FlexiSpan® Crack Repair Solution and a date was set for the repair.
Our Foreman injected polyurethane into the crack before sealing from the surface. A channel was installed overtop to deal with any new seepage, and a drain was dug into the floor to allow the water to escape.
The customer is very happy that his basement his dry. He no longer has to worry about where the water is coming from and he has a warranty for extra peace of mind.
