Foundation Crack Soaks Finished Basement in Whitby, Ontario

Damage at home happens. It could be as big as a broken furnace or as small as a broken window. Either way, it’s something we need to deal with, regardless of the issue.

A customer in Whitby, Ontario, had a foundation crack in their finished basement. Water was leaking through the crack onto their carpet, and they were concerned about damage from mould and mildew.

Tired of dealing with the crack, they reached out to Clarke Basement Systems for a solution. They met with System Design Specialist Chris Luke, who was able to put their worries at ease by showing them our FlexiSpan® Repair System.

Foreman Ali Fereidouni started the repair by injecting our sealant deep into the crack before patching the exterior. He also installed an in-floor drain to catch any additional seeping water. 

The customer is thrilled that their finished basement is protected. They can continue to use the space without having to worry about mould and mildew.
