Waterproofing Lionel's Pony Farm & Petting Zoo in Stouffville, ON

A home in Stouffville, Ontario, was having water issues in the basement. This home was on the property of Lionel's Pony Farm & Petting Zoo. Water would leak into the basement through the old homes foundation and would make the basement damp and smelly. The homeowner had many responsibilities to attend to on the farm and needed to be sure this problem would be solved quickly and efficiently.

The customer called Clarke Basement Systems and spoke to Claude Mathieu who ensured the job would not be invasive and completed quickly and correctly. Dave Jackson and the crew came in and installed a WaterGuard® drainage system around the perimeter of the basement. ThermalDry® wall membrane was mounted on all the walls to keep out any moisture and allow heat to stay in the basement. The team then removed the homes original sump pump that no longer did its job and installed a new TripleSafe™ in its place to ensure there would be no flooding. The TripleSafe has three levels of protection allowing the customer to be at ease when it rained. The customer was happy that their basement is now waterproofed and they don't have to worry about the Sump Pump failing.
