Challenge

This beautiful home had an awesome Driveway that sloped down into a garage. Curb appeal is great but the problem was every time it rained the water would go right past the old steel grate drain and right onto the garage floor. The customer also had a sump pump in their garage that could just not keep up with the water during heavy rainfalls.

Solution

First goal was to upgrade the sump pump system to a system that could manage water in the most extreme situations. From there we wanted to increase the volume of storm water that accumulates at the base of the drive with a proper trench drainage system. Although the grates are narrower we can collect more water by using a specific installation technique.

This sump could not handle the volume of water it needed and would overflow. It is also UGLY

This grate was rocky, ugly and simply did not collect the water as needed

Narrow high volume trench drain that will not rust or crush. Because of the smaller openings its less like to get clogged as well.

The triple safe sump system for customers who don't want the worry of a sump system that will let them down. Plus it looks great!

Tucked away safely in the back corner of the garage where it does not risk being damaged by cars or take up too much space.
