System Design Specialist Alex Barnik visited the home hoping to ease their worries and develop a solution. With a plan that would waterproof the basement for good, Foreman Jose Martinez and his crew got started with the goal of finishing in time for the move. His team installed a SuperSump® pump to discharge any water and encapsulated the room with CleanSpace® Vapour Barrier. The team installed a WaterGuard® Drainage System, and for extra protection an IceGuard® Discharge Line. We were able to finish the job in time for the move, and the basement living space is now dry and occupied. A big happy family!

The dehumidifier keeps the crawlspace dry and conditioned while the sump system collects the groundwater and pumps it outside. The crawl space is now clean, dry, and comfortable.
