Shifting Ground
Your home and its foundation rest in the soil around and beneath your house. Unfortunately, with changes in moisture content, freezing and thawing, soil compaction, the ground around your home is almost constantly shifting.
House Settling
Foundation problems start when ground shifts put pressure on your foundation – pressure it was not designed to take. The pressure causes your home to shift and settle, which causes cracks in your walls, drywall, ceilings, brick works - anywhere in the structure of your home.
Clarke Basement Systems' Foundation Supportworks Push Pier System
Just like a marine pier is anchored to the solid bottom of a lake or river, Foundation Supportworks' Push Pier System anchors your home to a solid base below it.
How it Works
The Push Pier System uses rugged steel pier rods, which are hydraulically driven deep into the earth below your home until they are supported by solid bedrock.
The rods are then secured to your foundation's footings to support and stabilize your home and prevent further damage from house settling.
You can even use your Push Pier System to re-align your home following damage from previous settling.
Push Pier System Installation
Your Push Pier System can be installed year-round with no heavy equipment and minimal disruption to you, your home and garden. The Push Pier System is hidden beneath your home so it will not affect your home's décor. It can be installed from inside or outside.
Clarke Basement System's Foundation Supportworks Push Pier System stabilizes your home, usually returns it to its original position and prevents further damage from house settling.
