Basement Window Well Drain

Basement windows are not designed to stop a flood, so if water builds up in your window well, it will leak into your basement.

WellDuct is a perfect solution that will keep water from building up in your window well by draining it through your existing drainage system.

A drain hole is drilled through your basement wall just under the windowsill. If the wall is a block wall, the hole is lined with a section of pipe. A grate is installed over the outside hole. The WellDuct conduit is installed on the inside of your basement wall.

If water enters your window well, it goes through the grate, through the wall, down the WellDuct, through your inside drain system to the sump pump. It is a simple and effective solution.
