Basement Floor Matting
The ThermalDry Floor Matting System is the only all-plastic basement sub-floor in the world. Water will not ruin it. Water vapor will not go through it. Mold will not grow on it.
ThermalDry basement floor tiles are 12-inche squares and lock together vapor-tight with a shiplapped design. At only 1/2-inch high, they do not reduce your basement ceiling height. They have a grid pattern on the bottom to allow air to flow beneath them so water vapor does not condense under them, as is often the case with flat plastic tile.
ThermalDry basement floor-covering tiles are the perfect solution for under carpeting. You should install carpets with tack strips, not glue, so that you can reuse the sub-floor when you replace the carpet. ThermalDry Floor Matting will last as long as your house (and maybe longer!). This is the last time you'll have to install a sub-floor in your basement.
